The IYFA Executive Committee, their families and other young farmer families once again invaded the Indiana FFA Leadership Center in Trafalgar for the bi-annual family retreat. It was a great weekend of fun and fellowship.

Friday evening members arrived, set-up camp and had a wonderful time catching up. Saturday morning members enjoyed a great breakfast together before the day’s activities began. After breakfast the executive committee headed upstairs to conduct their meeting, while others were free to fish, hike, sleep, and enjoy the leadership center. After a very productive meeting, the executive committee and other members enjoyed a wonderful lunch sponsored by Farm Credit Services of Mid America.

Members and the executive committee then participated in a service project by tending to flower beds and other areas at the Leadership Center. After the service project, members were able to enjoy the Leadership Center, shopping in Edinburgh and dinner on the town.

While some members made their way home on Saturday night, others waited to leave until Sunday. The weekend was a great success and a wonderful time was had by all.
